Democrat Creigh Deeds is stopping in several Democratic strongholds and his hometown Monday as he tries to rally the party faithful and cut into Republican Bob McDonnell's lead..

Polls over the final week show Deeds trailing McDonnell by a minimum of 11 points and as many as 18, a margin likely to hinge on Tuesday's turnout..

McDonnell is jetting from city to city and plans seven stops in the final day of campaigning before the election..
